Monday was just cool enough to be outdoors with our campers. We took a great walk from the center to a nearby park that had an awesome outdoor classroom. We brought along our imaginations and focused on looking deeply at the little aspects of nature that we encountered along the way.
When we arrived at the site we shared our experiences with nature and brainstormed strategies for including everyone's ideas into a collaborative mural.
The rest of the week had heat alerts that did not allow us to be outdoors! So we focused on visualizing our Monday experience. Our results are wonderful!
