Have you had your 2015 Get To Know Experience?
Spirits are high as participants are enjoying their Summer break
from school and are busy enjoying the outdoors with our GTK artist Penny Gamble Williams.
Penny has been working with a
great group of young people at Bladensberg Community Center two times a week.
They have been exploring the natural
beauty of our local environment with drawing. Her drawing exercises stress the
importance of connecting with nature by observing the colors and shapes of
trees, plants, water, sky, clouds and insects.
