Our photo op is a big hit!

@GTK had an amazing day at Kinderfest 2014

We were busy all day, working with nature loving young people from all over @PGCounty! 

We created Nature's crowns and had a ton of folks taking pics with the photo opp! 

IN FACT THE PHOTO OPP LASTED ALL SEASON AND MANY FESTIVALS and I AM SAD TO SAY......IT'S DONE! 

What happened: A young man came up to it from behind and jumped on it and....well, let's just say the artwork needs the Winter in Florida to get ready for 2015!! lol

Get to Know brings creative fun to Vansville Extreme Teens

A good time was had by all as we began our GTK Nature Mask project at Vansville Community Center last Friday evening. 

Thank you Arlene Celestine for creating the vision! 

We had 9 teens participate and each one cast the face of a friend in the group. Next week we will envision ourselves as part of Nature! And design self portrait masks.

Because of course we ARE part if of an interdependent web of life right?!

Can't wait!

Get To Know Rocks the Hispanic Festival Today!

Get to Know had a booth @PGParks Hispanic Festival today.
It was off the hook!
So many families out in nature participating in creative action!

GTK had 4 great @PGParks volunteers working with me and those young women  were awesome!
Could not have done it without them!
We helped 120 Festival participants create gorros in 3 hours time!
TAKE A LOOK AT THE AFTERMATH.....WILD AND CRAZY TIME!

The community overwhelmed us and when the hats were gone we started making head pieces from the scraps!
Hot music, great food and absolute FUN promoting @GettoKnow in our North county community!
